This green infrastructure initiative installed right-of-way bioswales, rain gardens, infiltration basins, and greenstreets to reduce stormwater runoff and flooding across the Flushing Creek Tributary Area, along with curbs, sidewalks, and roadway restoration.

SRE served as a major subconsultant providing resident engineering inspection and community liaison services. SRE inspectors verified compliance with applicable standards, resolved non-conforming work with the project team, and tracked the planting of more than 1,000 trees in coordination with the project team, logging species, caliper, depth, and backfill for each.
