Located directly on the East River waterfront, this capital reconstruction addressed coastal flooding risk while preserving the historic character of DUMBO and Vinegar Hill. The work included deep foundation stabilization with 75-foot cast-in-place CFA piles, new high-level storm sewers for flood mitigation, water main upgrades, and restoration of Belgian block streets and granite curbs.
