Sarah Marandi, P.E., CCM, ENV SP, WEDG
As founder, Principal and CEO, Sarah leads SRE Engineering’s vision and growth. Since 2014, she has led the delivery of capital programs of up to $1.8 billion for NYC DEP, DDC, DOT, EDC, the MTA and private owners. A licensed Professional Engineer and Certified Construction Manager, she is recognized as one of New York’s leading women in engineering and construction. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from New York University.

Reza Marandi, P.E., CCM, ENV SP, WEDG
Reza brings more than 40 years of New York construction leadership to SRE. He served 27 years as Director of Construction at NYC DEP before becoming a private consultant, and has delivered $5 billion in capital projects for NYC DEP and DDC. His experience on both sides of the table, as owner and as consultant, shapes how SRE delivers every project. A Professional Engineer licensed in New York, New Jersey, Texas, Florida and Colorado, Reza holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering and a Master of Engineering in Structural Engineering from The City College of New York.

Esperanza Arias-Marandi, MBA, WEDG
Esperanza founded NYPS in 2011, one of the first M/WBE construction management firms in New York City. As its CEO, she has delivered more than $2 billion in capital work for the city’s agencies, paving the way for the minority- and women-owned firms that followed. She brings 20 years of construction management experience to SRE and holds a Master of Business Administration from the City University of New York.
